Thanks for translating that for me, never heard of "bar" in relation to pressure before..?? I feel better now.. I took Savary's advice and am attempting to pull head with intake on, have stripped all wires and hoses from intake but am stumped on fuel lines, don't have special tool.. is there another way to get fuel lines off or do I need special tool?.
Also few things I found tearing down..
Top idler pulley was very loose, not bearing but bolt was backed out and I pulled by hand.. was flopping all over, definitely would have lost it on the road somewhere.. bearing seems OK, but for peace of mind will throw new one in.. confused over choices on europarts, but will figure it out..
Wires at top of connector to intake sensor (pressure sensor?)were melted, not totally, wires look intact but barea bout 1/2 out from connector.. 2 of the 3 wires, will clean up and shrink wrap wires... do these sensors go bad routinely? what would cause to melt wires?.. can this sensor be tested?? I assume that sensor mustay be bad to have melted the wires or other potential cause?? but ouch for a new $145 new sensor if not needed?? Help how to test or am I... S.O.L.?
Lastly, for now, very right exhaust stud at #4 was broken off in head, I didn't snap as was finger loose held in by rust? looking at manifold and gasket, it was leaking blow by exhaust badly for a while.. hope to get it out with ez out or drill and helicoil.. will see.. exhaust manifold and head quite have layer of carbon, will clean up.. thought I read here that bad valve seals are one cause of carboned exhaust ports?
Also, how or can I check to see if it appears alternator is original or perhaps has already been replaced? any indications on unit to look for? How to test/check wear? can you get at brushes to see how worn? just another costly ticket to just replace if not bad and my parts$ are really adding up if I do alot of preventative update stuff.. but it is so easily accessed with all apart? arghh!
Really hope to pull head soon/today, haven't pulled cam cover/chain/headbolts off yet, that's next.. but unless I get fuel lines off, will be stuck at this stage.. Help?, but gaining..
many thanks...
