I'm sorry to disagree with all of the people here that seem to love the pre-06 dash and hate the current one, but I love the new interior. In fact, it is one of the things that brought me back to Saab. For starters, I would be embarrassed to drive a car with a cassette player in the dash--now honestly, how could Saab have continued to provide a cassette player as standard through 2005? I have not listened to cassettes since the early 90's--15 years ago.
Granted, my car has nav, so I don't have the standard GM bow tie radio. But the controls are so much cleaner and simpler looking--in a Swedish kind of way. I love it! Now the super cheap carpeting is something that I could do without.
Get the new one!
