Well, you have received plenty of responses already, but my two cents' worth of advise is you have nothing to worry about. I'm on my second Aero (an '08) automatic, and my daily commute takes me up an interstate grade of about 6% for seven miles, and results in a nearly 2000 foot elevation change. I enter the grade from a clover leaf type onramp in 4th gear, and as soon as the car hits 70 MPH I manually shift it into 5th gear (no particular reason for the 70 MPH, it just feels good there). From that point I can continue to accelerate or drop back below the 70 if trafic conditions dictate, yet the car will not drop into to 4th unless the speed drops under 50. The engine puts out a substantial amount of torque for hilly highway driving.
