A lot will depend on what kind of driver's car you want. In my opinion, all three come out relatively equivalent over 4 years...since they all have comprehensive warranties and won't cost you much in maintenance. After that, I'm sure you know the cost of European car parts when they go wrong!
The 328Xi will be the sportiest of the three, the Mercedes the most plush, the Audi will have the best interior. I find the C class Mercedes to feel a little cheap inside, considering that it's a Mercedes. But it does have strong presence on the road.
In my past I've had an Audi 4000 and 90 Quattro and found their AWD systems to be virtually flawless. Granted, this was a long time ago!
The Audi with the 2.0T will get the best mileage of the three, and it's a strong four cylinder engine. Not quite as refined as the BMW or Mercedes 6 cylinders, but take that for what it's worth. I also think Audi interiors are probably the best in the industry quality wise.
I would just see which one you feel best fits what you like. I'd go for the Audi A4 2.0T Quattro wagon if it was my choice, but I'm a wagon guy... :-)
Cheers,
Paul H.
