SWEDECAR:
As tou say, I intend to make this just a reseal of the oil cooler, not a replacement of it. The car has only 153,000 km (les tha 100,000 mi) and I have seen no evidence of oil in coolant or colant in the oil.
I assume I need new cooler line banjo bolt seals at both the cooler end and the other end of the rigid oil lines that connect at the oil filter housing. I think there are O-rings around the lid to oil cooler fitting ports too. Is that all the seal items I need? What sealant do you use for the perimeter of the oil cooler lid itself?
Thanks,
Reg
