well, it is time I need to fix the rear end sag on my 01 Aero sedan. I know their ia a lot of debate on just what the fix is. and I am looking at 2 or 3 options. I don't see anything bent in the subframe so I am sticking to the shocks/ springs. My shocks seem just fine, I have a very good ride and get no bounce in the rear end, no cupping of tires etc.... because of this I hate to change out the shocks, I know 1 fix would be to just add a spacer to my original shock to raise the spring about 1 inch. Now my rear end sits over 1 inch lower then it should, and my new tires rub the rear well.
my other option would be to go with Bilstein shocks which have a higher perch, but this may or may not raise anything. I could also order new springs which should raise the car but may not? I am really leaning towards adding a spacer, but not sure if I should buy one(and where) or have something made up. anyone know the ratio of spacer thickness to actual ride height?
