We have two 2001 9.5 SW's. The Aero ride height is approximately 20mm below spec on all four wheels. We run 17" wheels only. I've never had a problem with tire rubbing nor does the ride suggest poor shock performance. The shocks are OEM and original as far as I can tell. Transverse link outer bushings appear OK. The Aero has 80K.
I plan to add 2 ea .6mm shims to each side to improve camber.
Why are you considering spacers rather than shims?
