yeah, A4 is a much smaller car than a 9-5, so of course it is more nimble. You're right, it is better to compare 9-3 to A4 or 9-5 to A6... and nowadays, 9-3 Aero is a turbo 6 anyway (though that is about to change)...
A buddy of mine has an A4 + likes it, but seems to be starting to lean towards Saabs... he has almost convinced his parents (long time Audi owners) to buy an off lease 9-3 sportcombi...
I like the newer Audis, but not more than our Saabs + not enough for the price difference! 9-5 is a fantastic highway car!
