Sorry about the small pic. Posting pics on saabnet probably is harder than rebuilding the engine. All of your pistons are stamped, you just haven't cleaned them well enough to see. I think it is common for #4 piston to fail. You also need to take the oilers out under the pistons. Unfortunately, the #4 one won't come out (I forget why, something is in the way). You'll have to clean that one in place. I used brake clean and a piece of mig welding wire. You're probably safe leaving the other 3 pistons alone, but I'd pop them all out and at least look and clean the oilers. You're replacing the rod bearings anyway. I'll try to rummage through what pistons I have left, but I think they are type A. I'm pretty sure there are A, B, and AB. It has to do with the bore diameter. You need whatever one came out of your car.
