Aaron, thanks for posting all this info for the rest of us. I'm a small block Chevy guy with a Saab girlfriend. Her 2003 Saab 95 is burning oil in #4 at 3 qt/month rate. I want to change rings and bottom end bearings without pulling engine. Is a newbie Saab wrench going to be able to pull the pan off and get to bearing caps without losing my sanity and/or having to buy girlfriend a new car?
