Dummy OnStar Antenna Question

I am about to order the dummy OnStar antenna to replace the one on my 2003 Linear wagon that is cracked and falling apart. Can anyone confirm that the nut on the current antenna will fit on the dummy antenna? I don't want to buy the nut if I don't need it.
Thanks in advance.
