Jarrald -- these cars sure seem sensitive to shakes, don't they? 8^) It drives me crazy, as the car is SO comfortable to ride in/drive otherwise. I am hoping maybe someone will chime in to say that, indeed, blown struts can cause these symptoms. My tires are new within the last 10K miles, FWIW. When I tried rotating them, the rears moving to the front caused a much worse vibration, so it appears that it is at least somewhat tire (or wheel) related.

I should also mention that the front strut(s) do his a bit over some low-speed bumps (like speedbumps). My Jetta always hissed (even with new struts), so I'm not sure this necessarily indicates a leak on its own. There is also a metallic clank from the left front over some potholes and such -- sound like a loose sway bar link or caliper, but these both appear to be tight.

Frustrating!
