My wife's SAAB 9-5 will probably be my last saab too. I've had 30-40 of them over the years, and the special something that they used to have is definitely not part of the 9-5.
We went looking at cars this past weekend. We looked at BMW 328, MB C300, and an infinity G37. She didn't really like any of them because they were on the small side. Getting a E class or a 5 series isn't in our budget, so I think we will go look at the Maxima this coming weekend.
Unlike some of these other very opinionated folks on here, I think the Maxima is a nice car. It makes a lot of power. and I would guess it will be pretty well built.
Sometimes I think that the folks that endlessly sing the praises of SAABs and put everything else down have either never driven any other cars, or have some kind of ego problem. Anyway, enjoy your new car!
