Hey, thanks for posting, but you may not get the responses you hoped for. Some, as I can guess know about this stuff but live with it and are still happy with their cars. It seems most folks are friendly, and kind, but others will just make excuses for GM owned/ designed saabs. I'm in aggrement with you, how COULD GM's owned Saab sell cars with the issues you mentioned, not to speak about a few other issues that Kill the engines. I'm always amazed at the level of denial, wierd. I guess 9-5 owners think their cars are the best in the world, and nay-sayers will be figuratively shot? I keep getting told to drop the "problem hunting" and just accept the car for what it is. I paid alot of money for my car and got tricked relying on it's Saab heritage to buy it thinking it was sturdy and better than the 9000 aero it replaced. I love Saabs so it's heritage got me to shell out the money for it. Boy was that a car-salesman's fraudulant representation if ever.
