it's water under the bridge. It does no good to revisit it except to understand the issues, which are well-documented.
So we change our oil, maybe drop the oil pan and even put on Bob Bright's pan with the access to the strainer. Sure it's a band-aid but we can't go redesign the entire engine.
The 9-5 is not a C900 or a 9000. It's better in some ways, worse in others. But it's still a good car with it's own set of issues. And fortunately we have this board to help us all though them.
