I drove to work early AM at speeds of 55-90mph over a 44 mile stretch.
I noticed that since the GSP9700 balance last night where small corrections were made to three wheels (two in front of .25-.75oz), my steering wheel is now smoother but the remainder of the car shakes like a [expletive]. The chassis, the fat on my arms, my entire seat, everything is vibrating. I want to go ahead and say that the vibration seems to lessen at speeds greater than 85mph. From 45 to 75 it's terrible though.
This morning I drove with the radio off listening for hum from the back and there is a howl of sorts that's not really speed dependent. I believe this noise was there for a while except that I dismissed this as road noise generated by my old, worn and scalloped tires. I know our 9-5's aren't that quiet.
Thanks for all the suggestions and posts as this is driving me crazy!
I'll have someone drive the car this weekend while I try to pinpoint the perceive howl.
