Pulled the T7. date is 5/7/00 T7.7B05 so must have been replaced (bought the car July1999). no VIN# on it but plenty of other #s.
Continuity from ABS pin 25 to T7 pin 64 with both plugs pulled. check.
With ABS plugged in, car powered, I get 8.5vdc from T7 pin64 to GND. While spinning either front wheel, I get no change. Stays at 8.5vdc.
Took it in to a local Indie this AM and he tried several scantools. He is downloading the Saab data for 1999 and older. Says what he had only covered 2000+. Will try again later today or tomorrow AM.
Seems to me since my previous checks showed vAC changes coming into the ABS plug when spinning the front wheels, the sensors may be OK (at least front ones. I still didnt spin the rears. seems like something in the WIS mentioned wheel speed and FR and RL wheels though). And then since I get no vDC reading change coming out of pin25 from ABS to pin64 in T7, the module isn't sending out anything to the T7 except 8.5vdc. does this check?
hopefully will get a good ABS scan today or tomorrow. if not, will take it to the Saab guy up north from me.
interesting, did finally also get a CEL last night so checked the OBDII again but still only the single P0502 code. the CEL went back out this morning.
