I just got the ABS for my 1999 V6 Wagon back from BBA-Reman last week. As promised, it only took three days. I am pleased with the work.
Note that they will charge a $35 test charge if your unit turns out not to be the problem. Since the unit seems to wear out with time anyway, I figured it was a pretty safe bet to fail on a 1999 car.
Here is the most useful instructions that I found:
http://www.scribd.com/doc/957152/Saab-95-DIY-ABS-Module-MY-2000
BBA Reman has instructions on their website as well. There are also some other good pix and instructions on this site from 4-5 years ago showing how to protect the unit with plastic if you have to drive while the unit is in rehab.
If you have the right tools, it is a pretty easy DIY.
