2008 X3, 35k, 3.0, strippee, which is very well equipped anyway, CPO 6yr/100k from May 08, $25,995.....Wifey had lost faith in our 9-5 with the leaking oil and gave permission for a "new" car. Needed a surfboard property management hauler, so a wagon of some sort. Ima' BMW salesman, albeit motorcycles, so I was checking out the new redesigned X3 and perhaps an insider deal when just a casual look at the used lot turned up this one, marked down from $30,995 that morning.
Yeah I coulda' searched for another cool 9-5 Sportwagon, but honestly I was ready for a change and since I acquired my 9-5 in 2003 I've become an official BMW guy. A 9-3SS SportCombi was not a consideration, just not that fond of 9-3SS', nor a 9-7X, but a 9-2X mighta' worked, though not quite big enough for my old man's 9'2" surfboard.
I'd love to keep my 9-5 as a third car, but part of the deal with wifey was to off it. So see my ad soon here and on Craigs list.
I'll continue to lurk here at TSN, just renewed my membership. I still want my flags!
