I love Saabs we have 2 9-3's and 2 9-5's now. We've had 9-5 wagons, 9-7x, 900's, 99's, 9000's, etc. I have 3 boys that are all grown now and the Saab is too small for your family as the primary vehicle. Kids get smaller. I'm not a big GM fan but the Acadia or maybe a VW Routan until they are older. If you want to stay in the smaller sport segment you might be able to get by for awhile with a Volvo wagon with the 3rd seat but that's the best I can suggest. The Tahoe is great but drinksssSS gas just liker our Land Rover but you can get a pass if you live in a really snowy climate. Unfortunately you are in the Mini van years unless you can swing a second car then get a Pre-Buick 9-5 Aero Wagon. Your life with Saab is is just like your golf game. We'll see you back in another 10 years. In the mean time go love on those kids and buy something safe for them.
