It gets 18 mpg on the highway and 12 around town and is so basic and fun to drive. Couple of transistors in the the CD and that is it for tech.

As James pointed out it is great for what is was intended for and unbeatable thrill on mountain roads.....

The Aero on the other hand is perfect to haul a weeks worth of food and skis and junk up to Mammoth and cruise for hours at +30 mpg. And it is reliable, and I enjoy working on both of them.

Really to each his own. I also have a pickup truck that is great for hauling motorcycles and construction jobs.
