I'm trying to be better about fuel econnomy, and i used to get an average of 23 mpg's, with about 60% highway driving. but i've been trying to be less agressive, and drive the speed limit and i've jumped to almost 28mpgs. same roads, same time of day. its not as much fun, and it does take me longer to get to work (I drive about 40 miles one way) but in the long run it is easier on the car, and cheaper on tires/breaks/gas. so it might be worth the change of habbit.
