My driveway is only slightly sloped but I still refuse to do any lift work out side because of it. I clear out the garage, park the car to be serviced in the center of our two car garage (which gives me lots more working room too) then chock all wheels which will remain on the level floor before lifting the car.
I do ramp work outside but never anythig which requires use of a jack.
