My idea is to get rid of all engine and management stuff, I like the body of the car, its an automatic, I want to put a small block v6 in .. I am not talking Saab v6, I want American so I can really up grade, I know I will lose capabilities of alot of functions, I DONT CARE . As long as it functions properly... eliminating o2 sensors and so on and so on.. Can it be done? What engines can be mated or would I have to custom mate? I just dont like all the bs with t5 t7 blah blah blah, BUT,,... I love the look of the cars..... They have become too technologically advanced for their own good. Give me hand rolled windows, give me air conditioning that is cold hot and warm , with high, low and medium, take away all the frills that malfunction anyways.... Give me HP ..... in a nice stylish body... Dont get me wrong, I love leather seats, but as far as electronics, these cars are a lemon,..sorry , I have owned 5 saabs, 3 different models, and the 88 spg was cool, take away the rattles, the bad tranny shifting , the sagging headliner, The 98 9K aero was ok, a bit dated looking , after the year 2000 past. I am sick of amm, map sensors, twice, dice, cps, and headaches that come with them. So guys.. can it be done ?
