I have 2 Aeros of that vintage, 2001 with 137k and 2000 with 148k. they have both been extremely reliable.

Id say that 125k you are nearing the start of a "maintenace wave" but nothing to be concerned about.

agree with you: fluids, PCV, drop pan. etc.

subframe bushings can be inspected, but face it, they, along with most other suspension bushings and motor mounts are shot (or nearly shot) at 125k. Is the suspension kocking, creaking? if not you have a some time but not much by 150k it all has to go. I'd say plan to replace the suspension front and back, including bushings, ball joints, tierods, links, shocks, and subframe bushings.

Fuel pump is likely on its way out. some pumps will last a remarkably long time, but most dont make it past 140k. you can monitor the fuel pump, see the link.

The alternator is a big nasty job and expensive. I plan to wait until it dies to replace (vs preventative replacement). However it would be wise to carefully inspect/replace the big batt cable going to the starter.

pulleys: I'd replace the pulleys and tensioner asap. I do the little idler pulley every 60k (notorious for stranding) and the tensioner and other pulleys every 120k.

the red DIC will get you home but not recommended to run with it for very long, It works as a spare. The good news is that the black DIC does not seem to leave us stranded like the red did in the 9000 days. The current crop of black DICs tend to throw a code and give you opportunity to get home and replace it.

Saab records: you used to be able to an IRIS report. You may still be able to.

good luck with your new Aero, its a great car with a few design issues (dumb rear suspension).

fuel pump monitoring
