Hi Kim,
Another thought from some of your other posts could be a bus problem disabling some of the computers. On an 03 this should not be a problem but in the drivers side in the trunk if you pull the side panel carpet out some there is a connector for a trunk mounted cd player it should be wire tied up on a harness that runs there if there is corrosion on this connector it can "crash the bus" or if it happens to be down and in water or something. It was a bulletin on 99 9-5 because they did not have it tied up on the harness. Another problem I have seen is with onstar control units crashing the bus. If you 9-5 is a 4 door it is located on the bottem of the parcel shelf and can be accessed from the trunk just unplug it. If its a wagon it should be located on the right rear under a carpet panel you can pull up to unplug it. These were just some other thoughts from reading a few more of you posts but the ignition switch would be my real guess as I was walking out to a car with your problems to pull it in the shop to diagnose. Once again Good Luck, Bernie at George Riggin Specialty Automotive
