Hi Well the Positive cable that goes from the battery to the starter and to the alternator is not in good shape. It is original and has been cut and soldered back together do to a problem we had when installing the Alternator 2 years ago. But it has been working fine. The Indy shop checked the positive and negative cables and said they were fine. I keep hearing over and over that it is most likely the ignition switch.I can get one from Eeuroparts.com and they are about $150 . I want to be sure it is that before buying one. I am not sure how to test it short of ripping the console out and taking the switch out which I hear is not all that easy. But if we can do the alternator, throttle body and fuel pump and a host of other things, I am sure we can pull the ignition switch. I am taking the care to a real Saab place I found 3 hours away in my state. I need to see if something is messing with the computers. All of this crap happened all at once. But then that is the way it is with Saab. I still love the car though. Thank you, Kim
