they are not super common. I see a few, but there are enough stick fans amongst Saab fans that it limits your pool of cars. For the 9-5, the auto is actually very good, so drive a stick because you want to drive a stick, not because it is the better tranny (the same could probably have been said of the og9-3 also)... I suspect lack of supply is what escalates the asking prices... but many car buyers don't want a stick, so generally, that hurts price...
of the ones listed, the 2004 is priced the same, or high for 3 years ago locally to me (and our car prices are generally higher than the usa), though it is an aero and I was shopping mainly for arcs. I've recently seen 3 2004 9-5 arc wagons locally in the $6k or less range, but miles closer to 100k (as one would expect for the age)... I only really look at wagons now, as we have a sedan and would only upgrade to a wagon. Sedans are more plentiful (by almost an order of magnitude!), and that affects price.
