2004 Aero. Did mine first in 2009 with 3M machine polish kit with preservative coating. I apply another coat of preservative every other time I wash it or about 2 mo. After 2-2.5 years I have to go back and refinish again. I dont think that "preservative" does much preserving though. The 3M kit is the only one worth a crap and will get them like new again, other kits I have used, Meguiars, Turtle Wax, etc. were just better than nothing.
I think SON was selling plastic stick on covers, but I have no experience with them so cant comment.
