Immediately after the CEL is reset they would read "Not ready". After some driving time they will change to "pass" one by one (catalytic converter efficiency is usually the last one). If one of them fails you get the CEL illuminated again.
AFAIK in MA it is allowed to have one monitor as "not ready" to pass inspection.
$10 bluetooth OBD2 adapter will ready the monitor readiness status - it just depends on the app used.
