I don't blame you. I hope you didn't spend too much!

One other SAAB option that has AWD and should take your wheels (if you already bought snows) is the 9-3x. Not as much clearance as the forester, but it is raised and would offer a better driving experience. Depends a bit on your needs, but if you can find one used, might be worth a look. That said, the brand is dead, and you will have more support from an established brand. That can be critical in remote areas.
