Hello guys,Im sorry to say this but i rarely contribute(actually very rarely),I only read this site every day.I wouldnt mind if you guys wouldn't want to chip in with your opinions on this particular issue.
Well, i have a 2004 aero station(manual) wagon with 96k miles, the car's been great, but it developed a rather unusual noise coming from the trans(the mechanic said it will need a new trans very very soon). He also said if not then youre better off selling it.And unfortunately this is what im thinking of doing(reluctantely).I can't seem to put $2000 in this car, even though its great and everything else works fine,I just don't know if i want to fix it.I mean i would love to fix it and drive it ,but im kind of dissapointed with this. The car has never been abused(at least by me)and it treated me great but,and the manual trans was supposed be pretty good too ,from what i've heard and read.I always thought i was gonna drive saabs(mostly used),but i don't think i will be getting another one.Like i said the car's been treating me good, and ive been treating it very good, but im starting to think that the car held up well because i took care of it ,not because it was built that way.Im sorry to say this but id rather put that 2000 bucks into a newer more solid vehicle.
Any thoughts guys ,let me know.Thanks.
