Hey guys and thank for your input. It is a tough decision as i really love the car, even my wife said to fix it as she loves the the car as much as I do.
As to the noise ,it makes a noise that sounds like a train(chattering-like) ,but when i press the clutch the noise goes away(at least much much quieter).I've read that it may be a throwout bearing, some say it may be a clutch release spring. The mechanic said that it is a probably the bearing that is loose and it may make a whole in the trans if it goes out and it will eventually happen pretty soon.
He is not sure himself but says that VW cars have the same problem with their trans and it cost about 2000-2500 to fix it(meaning getting the new transmission). If i sell it i might still get a newer saab 9-3 or a newer 9-5 ,but this time probably an auto. But at the same time im a little skeptical of getting another saab and it has nothing to do with the situation that saab is in right now.It has more to do with the thought i allowed myself to think that saabs are very unpredictable vehicles to some extent.I mean you take care of the car,but at the end the cars still craps out on you in some way.Believe me,I love my aero and i know it well, well except that transmission problem i thought i'll never encounter.haha
Well thank you guys for your inputs, greatly appreciated.Any more suggestions ,please reply.thanks
