You do indeed seem to be throwing a lot of money at a car with miles that low. Our aging SAAB (an '04 9-5 Arc wagon) we bought off a CPO with 21K miles 7 years ago next June, and have no complaints. It's now got 170K, and we lost a fuel pump Winter before last, and last Fall a blown head gasket (which, with repairs that included replacing a leaky radiator, came to just under $2K). With this much service from the car, we have no complaints. Just replaced a window regulator in the driver's door last month. The question is, what is going to happen when something big hits (probably clutch / transmission) that our shop of choice won't handle, or can't because a replacement isn't available. Until then, we'll keep on driving.
