I'm not sure why you would want to put the battery in the trunk but if you did it would be a lot of work and would be expensive. You would need a gel battery that would not gas off hydrogen in the closed compartment of the trunk. You would need to determine the size of the battery cables based on the length needed and the demand of the starter. You can find a chart to calculate the cable size at http://www.geniunedealz.com. The also sell cable and cable ends. They will also make up custom cables. Good luck.
