Saab being a small manufacturer did some funky swaps sometimes. When attempting a crank bearing swap (failed) I went to buy new cap bolts and the dealer was like "What bolts? they should be studs and nuts." We found a Saab bolt variation in the computer and ordered them and when I got those they were not the correct thread pitch. At that point the dealer called the regional distributor who confirmed there was a third variation but apparently rare enough in the US not no one stocked them- they basically had to be shipped on a slow boat from Sweden- took 3 weeks to get them. And then the bearing spun again anyway.
