Hi all

Realizing that while I can probably eke the summer out of my Primacy MXV4s, I realize that the more prudent thing to do especially with a couple of Virginia trips, is to just bite the bullet.

Size is 215/55-16, car is 2003 9-5, Arc (V6). 255k miles. I'm looking for quiet and sure footed cruising.

When looking at Mavis' website, I see the MXV4's in V rated for about $150 (plus install), and the $70 rebate they always offer.

The Conti's are about $40 cheaper per tire, same install and rebate available.

I know the MXV4s well and like them. What thought have you on the continentals? There are two models, DWS and DWS 06, close in price. Are they "low profile"? They don't look as tall profile in the photos.
