I've been having trouble with the first start of the day, after that it's fine. When you start up first time turn the key to on and wait for the fuel pump to stop. Switch it to off. Do this twice more. A friend suggested this to me and it seems to help. In the warmer weather the car starts better than cold. My fuel pump was tested and I was told it was ok, so I thought maybe the check valve. We have different engines but it sounds like the set up is similar. (2002 9-5 arc, v6) I also thought maybe its that winter additive they add, what was it ethanol, mtbe, something like that. Please post what you find I will be working on my car in the coming weeks.
