2004 9-5 Arc exhaust question and replacement.
Posted by three_jeeps (more from three_jeeps) on Thu, 31 Oct 2019 18:17:32
The entire exhaust on the car is original. I noticed a crack in the pipe at the exit of the resonator.
It looks to me like the entire exhaust is one piece? Starting at the front of the car - the pipe that goes into the resonator, the resonator, the pipe out of the resonator to the muffler and finally the muffler.
Can this be true?
Any suggestions for reasonable cost after market replacements and how to replace? e.g. can it be cut n clamped or doe sit have to be welded? It looks like I may need to replace the resonator as the crack if fairly close to it....
Would someplace like Monroe muffler shop be a reasonable choice?
Thanks for any guidance/advice
