My 2002 Aero Wagon has had the complete system replace in the last 20,000 miles, original system held up well considering my car spent most of its time up north(now a Florida car). Just approaching 200,000 miles so OE held up well. I replaced it in two sections first with a Maptune cat back system very happy with the sound and quality, a little rumble but not droning on the highway. The last section to get replaced a few months later was the cat and the pipes from the turbo, went with Talifierro 3" with stainless and race cat. Very happy with this also without a tune it is picks up quicker and fuel economy is higher especially on the highway, normally got 26 on the highway this last trip was 30mpg. Just a little jump but an improvement, of course the 3" pipe has a lot less restriction than stock and is very pretty. So if you are keeping the car my suggestion would be to that route. I am happy with the money I have spent.
