Cut the balance chain and pulled it out, (thanks Jeremy and Anders!)
removed a thrust washer to gain enough clearance to get #5 main bearing cap out (thanks rdbets!)
Everything is done except for the upper main bearing on #1. the frame makes it tough to get in there and tap tap tap. The bearing seem "stuck" we have been trying to get it out for 4 hrs now! it wont budge. There is no room to tap very hard .. I had to cut down my pusher tool to be able to fit the hammer. So I cant really swing and apply much tapping force. Still I'd expect that it would move ... slowly. But it is not budging at all.
Is it possible that it's stuck? or is just the awkward position and I cant get enough force on it?
I hate to leave that bearing in there but Im running out of ideas. Any thoughts on what to try to get this last bearing out?
