Hey Bernie, and all!
It's been a while, life's been twirling up here in Oregon with Wildfires, evacuations, homes lost, my work at OR St Prison where they had to evacuate-in 3 other prisons to get those out of the fire's threat and...well we've all had it for certain.
I'm in Salem OR on a work assignment and have basic tools and Tech-2 w/me, no gauges or meters.
So here's the deal now with Cassidy II, my ARC 3.0 wgn, 173K on the clock.
Reset the knock/MF counter and now about 5oo mi later the knocks are down but still w/ MF's on #2=4=6 cyls of 249-144-195 respectively. 1-3-5 are all < 40.
Runs a little rough, hesitates, stalls once on cold starts sometimes(it's not that cold here in OR and remember this started in August, I think the winter fuel arrives in stations next month}.
New 2 wks ago I had a "small EVAP leak" CEL come on once. Cap and visible vac lines ok.I've replaced all the obvious soft vac lines with silicone a yr ago
I don't know where the EVAP valve is near the Int Mnfld to take off and check integrity.
I've replaced the proper plugs, CS sensor and the by-pass valve.
I've never replaced the fuel pump or dropped the tank.
I don't have WIS w/me and would be grateful for a link to on-line source.
I'm clearly stumped and would be grateful for any help on what I can do with what I've got here in the hotel!
I'm happy to spring for lunch and libation for anyone near Salem who may help me. She still rolls, just a little under the weather and it's not Covid! (I had it and have the antibody so I didn't give it to her--Haha,
Thanks all!
Rick
