SOLVED - Driver's Door Airbag Sensor Bad Commo B2871 Posted by FredKolb12 [Email] (#46) [Profile/Gallery] (more from FredKolb12) on Sat, 5 Nov 2022 11:40:18 In Reply to: Re: Driver's Door Airbag Sensor Bad Commo B2871, Paul from Palmyra, PA, Sat, 22 Oct 2022 13:51:55 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Ordered a new sensor and finally had time to change out the old one today. After two Tech2 resets and car starts, there is no longer an airbag warning light and I can get inspected this month. Funny how these issues surface when it’s inspection time.
In our area of Virginia, emissions are tested and the state agency sets up IR monitoring on I95 and other Highway entrance and exit ramps. They publish the schedule. They take a photo of your registration plate and if you are OK, send you a letter that you passed within 4 months of renewal date - please pay us now….. No need to have the station hook up to the DLC.
On to solve the next issues and change wiper blades before inspection.
