mine has issues when filling the tank up all the way, in which case the gauge occasionally goes bonkers, dropping down to empty, and then sporadically going back up to full, back and forth. It always goes back to normal behavior once I put a few miles on it, dropping the level of fuel in the tank.
.. I assume it's the float sticking, but since it's only an issue when I fill it up completely, I don't worry about it.. It would be more of a concern if it exhibited this behavior nearing empty, but that's never been the case for me..
