1) How is the new 5 spd auto tranny?

>> I have a manual, but I think the auto is one of the best on the market -- I liked it much better than the tiptronic in my Audi.

2) Anyone have the new Senstronic tranny? Comments?

>> I am sure it will be nice. Those Senstronic/Tiptronic transmissions are a little over-rated in the excitement department if you ask me.

3) Are the bi-Xenon headlights woth the upgrade?

>> Yes. Clarity at night is priceless. They really do work well.

4) How well does the brushed aluminum dash panel hold up to dirt and wear?

>> Too early to tell. I am still considering the carbon dash kit.

5) How is the new wheel and tire combo (new 10 blade wheels wih Michelin Primacy wheels)?

>> I like the BBS wheel look better. The tires are good OEM tires and the rims feel sturdy. This car handles very well - not sure how much of that is the tire/rim combo. At least I don't feel like I risk bending the rims everytime I drive (this is how I felt with my Viggen).

6) Any difference in the driving and handling versus the 2000 Aero?

>> Much better....It can only be experienced.

7) Has anyone seen an Aero in the "Cosmic Blue" color? How does it look?

>> Wish I could have gotten cosmic blue - that is the best color in my opinion. Midnight blue and black would be my second choice. Silver third. I ended up in thrid place, but I got a heck of a deal so I'll take it.

The new aero is a blast. I drove a 2000 aero as a loaner a while back. From what I remember the car handles much better with the 2002 upgrades. The sport seats to me make the biggest difference between 2000-2001 and 2002-2003. The seats in the aero beat any make in this price range (excpet the Viggen seats). The automatic transmission is also a vast improvement and I was impressed with the transmissions in the 2000-2001 years.
