Admittedly, Bismarck North Dakota isn't exactly a population center, but when we considered a Saab last year, the fact that the nearest dealers are 420 miles west of here in Billings, MT or 440 miles east of here in Minneapolis, made the decision to buy a 2001 Olds Aurora from the dealer down the street pretty easy. I think GM should find a way for other GM dealers to sell, or at least be able to servcice, Saab. For what it's worth, the nearest Volvo dealers are also in Billings and Minneapolis. Fargo (200 miles east) has a Mercedes Benz, Audi, VW, and Porsche dealer.
I agree with other posters that Saab could use an all wheel drive wagon, and is behind other makes in not offering a stability control system.
I would still like to buy a Saab one of these days (that's why I still read this list from time to time), but it sure would be better if we could at least have it serviced locally.
