Jae, I respect your opinion as well as the hundred's of others on this BB. I do not claim to be an oil expert so I have to go by someone else's recommendation who is more knowledgeable. So who should I trust? joeblow@saabnet.com or the guy who designed the car? I am under the opinion if I have oil related problems and go back to Saab for help I'll be better off if I follow what they recommend. I don't believe joeblow will do much for me. I actually think full synthetic oil is a good idea. If and when Saab recommends it for my car I very well might switch. I have another opinion, and it might show my ignorance. I believe my car will run a very long time with any quality oil, with the right specs for my car and climate. Hey, what do I know.
