Thanks Magellan. All your comments have been very helpful. Unfortunately, my husband and I are really bad at this car buying thing. This is only my third car ever owned - my second new car. And to answer your question, the trade-in was used as part of the down payment. Ugh. well, live and learn I guess. I'll know much better next time.
I agree that selling a car on your own is more of a hastle. Could I get a lot more for my car? Sure --- but who has the time to deal with all that.
I know it sounds crazy but I feel like I am getting such a good deal on the 95, I'd just rather let it be and take it home. At the same time, I cringe when I think I could have gotten it for probably well under $400/month... Anyway!!! Thanks again for your comments! - Rhonda
