The V6 has shown it has more problems than any current Saab engine, so why buy it? Saturn uses the same basic engine in the L series and Cadillac uses the same engine in the Catera. Talk to a Cad, Saab, or Saturn technician and you're going to get the same answer - stay away from the V6. With these reliability concerns, it's easy to see why there isn't a huge performance market building upgrades - the engine can't take it.
If you're looking for luxury, buy a Mercedes or Cadillac. The Aero is for those guys who wish they could have a sports car, but have to haul people around. If you HAVE to have a Saab and you want more power and a softer ride, buy the base model and wait a year for the tuning box from Saab.
