Please recall that the 99 9-5 V6 was delayed for MONTHS while the engines were being replaced for quality problems. Some of the Year 2000 cars were also held in stock in Sweden while the engines were being replaced. This is not BIAS, dear gentlemen, this is fact.

Regardless of WHERE the Cad, Saturn, and Saab engines come from - the parts bolt right on! Whenever you need a timing belt for your Saab, please save yourself some money and buy it from the Saturn dealer. Head gaskets, crank, rods, pistons, wrist pins and heads will fit, too.

I'm sorry if I'm saying things you don't like to hear, but I have a lot of friends in the car industry and this V6 is giving all of it's users problems.

As for the ever-popular argument that "all the posts are about 4 cylinders on this list..." that's a simple one to answer. With the V6 making up a meager 15% of Saab's volume, 85% of the posts WILL NOT be about V6s.
